ima gonna throw all the holiday details into this post... ps, shld be day by day post, but leh some days drunk, or hotel no internet so sadded lor... bare with me here, gonna be long, try to add lotsa pics to make this more interesting :P have all the photos from the staff, still missing siyan/sihui and TSY's cam pics... muz get them soon!!

--day 2--

mum didnt join us today, she had golf with client, so TSY & mic went, rest of us 1st went to this old, non-functioning train-station nothing much there execpt we all bought bubble tea :P uber nice lor... go taiwan muz try thier stuff, tried ROSE VINEGAR!! muahahaha!!! f-ing nice lor!! also bought this unbelievably SPICY chinese mi-jiu, 45% alcohol, used this for a later event, read on to find out :P

yes im wearing contacts, dont ask y, had to squat cause cannot see track -.-
next, went to this crumbled temple, during taiwan's amazingly huge 9/21 earthquake, the newly-built temple collasped, sad taiwan ppl, so they kept the remains of the temple as a reminder to the devastation an earthquake causes...

had lunch at some lame restaurant... poor albert sick -.- food kinda ok, better ones to come :P

after lunch, went up the mountains... sing K on the way :P TSY's daughters can really sing, voice really good, went to another train-station, this even older and higher up, took lotsa pics here, this 1 particularly stands out, with micole....

quite sunny, so wear sunglasses lor... we sat on the rainway and chatted... lotsa candid photos here, dun wanna post cause some might cause embarrassment to others...
after this went to grape farm, specially requested, go pluck grapes for old ppl, great-granny likes grapes, juz nice now season, we go pluck for her lor...

micole lim, haiz, paparazzi-in-training, took this, at least sihui saw it coming... i too busy admiring the grapes... went back to hotel after this, this hotel quite good, got hot-springs :D best part is *this area is purposely darkened so only ppl who truly want to see y the hot-springs r the best part can highlight and see it*

xmas party!! woohoo!! booked the karaoke room!! but it amazingly sucked, no new songs what-so-ever, only sang wen bie by jackie cheung.... old ppl had fun lor, all the songs from thier generation, have a 12min video of our secret santa present giveaway, trying the blogger video upload, dunno if it works... watch it, if it does not work, i will post details :P


--day 3-- MERRY XMAS!! hohoho, hehehe
siyan brought her santa hat, sweet lor!! cant seem to find a pic of her wearing it, went to some old temple, bought this really cute figure of guan gong, still abit high from xmas party here... but still got this great pic... tt is guan gong's actual falchion from the ancient times...

went for lunch at this flower place, every dish has at least a flower or parts of a flower, weird, almost a vegetarian lunch, WEIRD!!!! they had this really nice fountain near the table, the light bending arnd it caused this nice rainbow!! ironic, the rainbow staff taking a pic by the rainbow :P

after flower-power, had a double scoop ice cream at the souviner shop, later went to this bee place, the owner has been raising bees for 40++ years, introduced some bee products to us, was bored, so gossiped with micole throughout the 'lesson'
went for 'cua-bing' or ice kachang.... whole bus stopped on the roadside cause mum wanted to try cua-bing... this is wad it looks like after about 7 ppl dug into it...

went to this place where everything they sell have alcohol induced in it, from alcoholic chocolate to weird items like alcoholic duck's feet... many large sculptures of bottles of chinese wine outside the building, took this pic with 1 of them...

imagine drinking out of it, AMAZING!!!! returned to hotel after that, had dinner at a seafood res nearby, seafood restaurant but best was the noodles, f-ing nice lor...

--day 4--

early morning, after breakfast, went to climb this supposable 1km route towards a waterfall with siyan, suppose to be 1km, but think 1km vertically upwards, no the road length, we walk upwards for like 40min still haven reach, still got like 450m to go... sadds wanted to reach the top... no time liao, so gotta chiong back down to meet with rest of group... both of us sweating like hell, dripping wet lor...
went to another temple... zzz so many temple this trip, but this 1 special, inside n out all selling food :P went with TSY n co. had really nice dumpings and meat ball soup, the 'ji dan gao' was abit disapointing...
finally the point where every1 wants to go, 'wu fen pu' the distribution section where all night market owners go to stock up on thier items... meaning, f-ing cheap items!! 4pm shop all the way to 8pm, walk till leg sore liao... ps no pics here, every1 too busy shopping.... bought 6 pairs of shirts, a new wallet amongst others... cant rmb all... spent like NT3k++ which is like $150, f-ing cheap lor... hu go to taiwan, 1st place for shopping is there... muz muz muz!!!! go...
had dinner near the tour-guides home, her hometown called 'ban-qiao'... LOL woodbridge sia... shes mental... shes also dam talkative, i wan sleep in bus she talking, i watching movie she talking... abit annoying... our 1st group photo for this tour....

--day 5--

when i say TSY & co. i mean TSY, siyan, sihui and his wife... they left us today, to go on thier own family 'expedition... dam sad, left my charging battery pac from the camara in the hotel.... none of these pics are from my cam...
went to ex-president of taiwans residence, hes garden is like the size of a park in spore, got rose gardens, a penthouse for hes bodyguards...

this is a nice wooden cover leading into the pavillion...

we took this pic along this nice flower arrangement... after walking 1 round, we realise we took the pic from the wrong angle... his face is the other way around all we took were hes flower ears... too late to take another 1 from the correct angle liao ps...
went to 'qing ren qiao' next :P

sadd, i no qing ren to bring to qing ren qiao... sum1 wanna fill this vacant position??? left the qing rens to thier own way, mickie & albert lor... bought the 'CHAO JI DA JI PA' on the way back, we every1 1 bite also cannot finish, imagine how dam big the chicken is... dam effin nice tho...
later, went to lao jie, 1 of the oldest streets in taiwan... old but somehow, a show like this appeared :P

PLAYBOY!!! muahahaha... but not the magazine, juz some show shop, think its connected to playboy magazine somehow... bought 3 cans of color hair spray, 1 black to ensure can collect result w/o having to dye black...
bought 'chou dou fu' or smelly tofu for the staff, bluff them say dam nice, ask them try, miko, june and micole threw up, jessie didnt try... only mickie & albert & me swallowed the dam thing... if u dun smell it, its nice, if u smell it, GG no need eat liao, effin stinky -.-
next stop, another shoppers paradize, 'xi men ding' compared to 'wu fen pu' here abit lacklusture... cause all thier stock get from there and prices so much higher... only bought shoes and a new pair of sunglasses...
went to according to tour-guide, BAR STREET for dinner, had beer and screwdriver or vodka orange... went to this pub with the sales department of the staff, namely jessie, miko, june, albert & mickie.... drank vodka lime and listen to the live band... gossiped loads :P now i know how to staff feel bout working for rainbow... bout the working life n stuffx... after a few rounds, miko n mickie cannot take it liao, change to beer... which made it worst cause vodka cannot mix with beer.... after drinking, miko threw up... genius lor... mix for wad -.-
had late night supper at a nearby shop, all drink soup... piece of advice, after drinking, want to avoid hangover the next day, drink hot soup b4 u sleep, so u will sweat... somehow it prevents the next day headaches...
stupid cabbie dunno how to go back to hotel... had to call albert in the other cab.... dam smart lor, use singapore phone in taiwan to call another singapore phone in taiwan, so tt 2 local cabbies can discuss location... WTF k... waste money... took like 1h to reach back hotel, slept at like 2-3, cant really rmb... so high liao...

3h since i started writing... hope ur still there...
im tired now, post the rest tml... srys im juz so tired now...

--day 6--

early morning, went to this geological site... all the sites there are naturally made by the waves there... very beautiful place, 1 of those rocks looks like this....

mark koh, hero sia!! had lunch at a nearby seafood res.... yes i knoe... so many seafood restaurants... eat till sian liao... u know they let pets at the table in taiwan... weird lor, a dog sitting next to the owner eating off the same plate, WEIRD... also watched this old man sitting outside the restaurant killing the fishes, f-ing roadkill sia, 1 chop to the area between the gills and DEAD!!! i will nver see another live fish the same way again...
went to tofu street next, whole street selling tofu... dam smelly, 1st 2 stalls of the street selling smelly tofu, want to puke sia.. still found this G-I-A-N-T L-O-L-L-I-P-O-P!!! GIANT LOLLIPOP!!!!

even micole wants a piece of it...

chiong back to hotel again... for hot springs!!!! sweet!! this 1 even has a swimming pool for u to cool dwn... sadd, sihui & siyan nver go this time... im srys ppl, no pictures!! muahaha!! swim song liao, went to this hakka restaurant for dinner, food dam good :P

not very lady-like hor... in anycase, ladyboss, wad u wan??? table looks like 1 of those from those old chinese movies where the old man sit to eat roadside noodles... WEIRD...

went to miko/may's room to group the pieces together... all of them went :P sweet 2 guys and dunno how many chio girls in a hotel room, dont get the wrong idea tho... played daidee, loser has to crawl arnd the room, micole lim dam lucky, she go toilet her replacement lose... tyco lor!! every1 lose once, june, mickie and me... sad gotta act dog, poor albert lost 3 times... got the videos of them crawling here, wan see tell me i post...

--day 7--

sadd, going home liao... srys got all the pics ytd, so this part no pics... early morning went to hot-springs with staff, last day liao, all go chiong!! chiong bathe and went to meet sihui & siyan to play pool, they 2v1 me, abit miss match, TSY came along to help them, i dun mean to be egoistic or smth but, mark koh leh, gotta do alot better then tt to beat me :P
went to this 'ma la huo guo' place for lunch, got free-flow drinks, desert... b4 food come we all eat dessert liao, a piece of advice, 1 scoop of everything doesnt necessarily mean nice ice-cream, the mango kinda ruined the whole thing... ate loads... 1 of the best meals this holiday :P
went to a nearby shopping mall, called tai-mall, went to shop with siyan & sihui, they bought like NT$2000 worth of soap... thats like $80, serious shoppers indeed... went to this book store and bought snoopy poker cards :P so cute lor!!!! also bought this portable mahjong card set :P nxt time no more daidee, can play mahjong liao...
went to airport, time to say bye bye to taiwan... my single regret, not going to mr.J diner to see jay chou's vintage glass piano... sadd... k im done, hope this is the largest single longest post which has taken the longest time to finish... but its done :P
